HEADLESS bring their Progressive/Hard Rock Style To Life In New Video “Still My Thrill”

European Progressive/Hard Rockers HEADLESS who recently released their new album ‘Transitional Objects’ a few weeks ago return with a new music video for the song “Still My Thrill.” The song is a fine example of the cross-European band featuring members from Italy, Sweden and the Netherlands’ ability to create overly infectious songcraft with a backbone of challenging musicality.  HEADLESS’ fifth full-length continues on the path that their fans love – a marriage of progressive rock/metal influence with the timeless melodic, traditional hard rock appeal of the ‘80s.

The music video, directed by Marco Di Gennaro, captures the band performing in a natural theater made entirely of rocks in Northern Italy. WATCH NOW https://youtu.be/-oJD43XU6IY?si=BKeRZbm3OkyOcZ55

“’Still My Thrill’ is a song in memory of one of my dearest friends who died in a terrible accident in the Alps. For me, the fact represented the loss of a role model and a complete change of scenery in everyday social relationships,” explains guitar Walter Cianciusi. “The story is never brutally described but, in typical Headless style, is presented as a mass of tangled thoughts that all have a common root.

The video’s location’s idea is to witness the event after the fact, searching for his soul and its inspiring power. This event profoundly impacted my inner self, prompting the commencement of the album’s creative process.”

“Still My Thrill” joins previous visualizers from the album including the catchy and irresistible  “Weightless” https://youtu.be/DS4SRckWK7k?si=FaLHrZ7xAbr_fqiI and their take on a Megadeth deep cut “I Thought I Knew It All” (feat. guitarist Andy Martongelli) https://youtu.be/nA_tJIV2B1s?si=df6OpzVSxwx3Ocwr both with enjoyable animated videos from Dime Stamenov (Sabaton, Motorhead, Saxon).

‘Transitional Objects’ is out now on all Digital platforms, as well CD (jewelcase with booklet) and limited-edition (300) grimace purple colored vinyl available in stores or order direct at these available options https://lnk.to/headless (fulfillment comes from EU or US depending on your location).

‘Transitional Objects’ offers something for fans of traditional Hard Rock, AOR or Progressive Rock/Metal showcasing HEADLESS’ signature sound, characterized by intricate guitar work, dynamic rhythms, and melodic vocals. Key about HEADLESS is the amazingly melodic and infectious vocal harmonies of Swedish singer Göran Edman whose experience since the ‘80s fronting numerous recordings from names like Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum, Vinnie Vincent, as well as the groups the last 4 decades like Madison, Swedish Erotica, Glory, Karmakanic and more. Appreciated and loved by those in the know, and underrated by everyone else it’s great to hear Göran return to the group for the new album.
